Green Travelling consortium

The GREEN_TRAVELLING consortium is multidisciplinary with partners that have solid track records in implementing a broad range of technologies, services and research tools. This supports the intention of GREEN_TRAVELLING, i.e. to analyse and foster the use of electric vehicles with various modules to meet the practical and strategic needs of key users in different market situations and geographical environments.

The faculty of Transport of Silesian University of Technology (Poland partner) will be in charge of designing the optimal routing algorithm which will include an assessment of environmental impacts carried out by Factor CO2. The optimisation algorithm will be embodied into a set of interfaces developed by Mantis (Turkey partner). The collaboration of the three partners (Silesian University of Technology, FactorCO2 and Mantis) will deliver the Green Travelling Application which can be acquired into a smart phone or a car console with all the corresponding facilities.

On the other hand, the Basque company SAITEC will lead the development of the Green Travelling Platform (GTplat) which includes the optimal routing algorithm developed by the faculty of Transport of Silesian University of Technology (Poland partner) and the assessment of environmental impacts carried out by Factor CO2 (Basque Country). The GTplat includes an agent-based system and a bonus system which will be analysed by SAITEC.

The Spanish company SAITEC and the Spanish consultancy Factor CO2 will subcontract part of their tasks to DeustoTech research institute. DeustoTech has a recognised experience in agent-based modelling and scenario design, as well as optimisation algorithms and system identification techniques.
